Federal Skilled Worker: eligibility and invitation
- FSW experience must be in NOC TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 and include at least one continuous year of paid full-time work, or equivalent part-time work, within the previous ten years.
- The first official language requires CLB 7 in all four abilities. Foreign education requires an immigration-purpose credential assessment.
- Applicants meeting the minimum requirements need at least 67 FSW selection points. This score is different from the CRS score used to rank Express Entry profiles.
- Entering the pool does not guarantee an invitation or approval. IRCC separately assesses funds, admissibility and the permanent residence application.
